Easter Sunrise Mass at the beach has become one of our favorite family traditions. This year we were fortunate to have my sister Julie in town from Montana to join us for the fun. While it was slightly cool for us, I think Julie enjoyed not having sand instead of snow!
It was a beautiful morning. Slightly cool and breezy – you could really enjoy the sand between your toes.
The sunrise was clear, too.
I remember last Easter being pregnant with Sean and imagining what he would be like playing on the blanket during Mass. Watching him made me smile at how blessed we are with our little family!
Caitlin was allowed to bring four eggs with her to the beach. She loved it! She was also impressed that we saw "Holy God" outside and not in the church.
We all loved spending time with Aunt Julie!
It was a lovely way to start our Easter!
