I am wife to a charming Irishman, mother to a beautiful baby girl, and teacher to elementary students younger than the car I drive.
I met my husband at summer camp. Okay, so we were working at summer camp, but it sounds more impressive the other way. I have blogged the story of how we met before and this summer when I have more time I will add the links here. I call him the Irishman because...well, he is my Irishman. And yes, he has the brogue and all.
Caitlin was born last November and was the answer to years of prayer. She may be the most photographed baby in Florida. With grandparents and family across the country and across the pond, this blog has become their daily fix!
While I long to be a stay-at-home mommy, I love teaching and right now staying home is not an option. I decided on the first day of second grade that I wanted to be a teacher and have never had a job that did not involve working with children.
I am a Texan at heart, but I can call those Hogs like the best of them. The Irishman and I love to travel and cannot wait to take Caitlin along on new adventures.
So, feel free to have a look around the old blog and remember...
May the light always find you on a dreary day.
When you need to be home, may you find your way.
May you always have courage to take a chance
And never find frogs in your underpants.
