Last Minute Egg Hunt

At 7:50 this morning I read about an egg hunt that the city was putting on. It started at 8:30 in a park I'd never heard of before. We were technically under a tornado watch, but it looked like it was starting to clear.

We pulled up at 8:29. Morgan took the kids and I went to park the car.

There wasn't much hunting. Just 10,000 eggs thrown on the soccer field. Caitlin went to town. Sean stopped to celebrate the fact that each egg had goodies in it.

We got a picture with the Easter Bunny just before the rain picked up again.

Sean has already eaten two days worth of candy. His favorite are peanut butter cups for the sole reason that he can open them all by himself!

We are off to B's house to decorate eggs this afternoon. Caitlin has already declared this to be a great vacation day!

Disney Spring Break

These pictures are almost a month old, but that's okay! We spent three days at the parks to kick off Spring Break.

Can you tell it was St. Patrick's Day?

Our passes are good until June, so we hope to make one more trip!

Healthy Selfie

Sean made some faces while waiting for a check up.

Reading

(Sean loves to read too, but I'm usually the one reading to him, so I don't have pictures!)

Future Flower Girl

Stephanie is one of Caitlin's favorite people. This picture is from Steph's bridal shower a few weeks ago. Caitlin is so excited!

Tomatoes and Popcorn

I got a call from my grandmother this week. She had two ripe tomatoes on her plant. My kids check on the tomatoes every time they come, so she invited them to come pick them.

Funny enough, they don't even like tomatoes.

They loved picking them though!

Afterwards, B made popcorn. The kids got stuffed animals at school, so they shared their goodies with their new "friends."

Sean sent his bear down the slide. The bottom of the slide was a little dirty, so the bear had a slightly muddy bum. Sean picked it up and shouted,"Bear poopy!" Life from a two-year-old's perspective!

They had a blast!
