Choo! Choo!

For this year’s Black Friday sales we had babysitters, so we had to go out one at a time. I sent the Irishman to Home Depot to pick up a few simple things: Christmas lights on sale for $2.50, a wreath, ornaments for a Pinterest project, and batteries. He called to let me know he found something NOT on the list he was going to pick up.

I joked about it on Facebook and had friends try to guess what his “extra” purchase was that morning. Truthfully? It was a great find.

Caitlin and every kid who has been to our house LOVES the train. There is a remote control that allows it to go forward, backward, or even play Christmas music. Caitlin initially thought the remote was a phone, but now she knows!

I am sure our Choo Choo will be a hit for years to come!

(We just upgraded our Picnik account, so the collages are a result of me playing around to see what we can do.)

Tomorrow is the day I go back to work. Everything is falling into place. Sean has a spot  at the daycare. Caitlin is not 100% yet, but the doctor has cleared her to return to day care. (We will see the ENT later in the week.)

Today is going to be a busy day of getting everything ready. Installing the car seat in the Irishman’s car, menu planning, grocery shopping, ironing, packing bags. It is only a week until Christmas vacation. I can do this. I know I can – but please say a prayer for us as we make this transition!

The train was a great find! Saying extra prayers for all of you today. You have a lot on your list for today with a little one who still isn't 100%! Remember that if it doesn't get done there's always tomorrow and it won't be the end of the world (this is the motto I'm using this Christmas season). I pray this week goes quickly for you!
