We had a family fun night at school last week for the teachers. The Irishman was a little concerned about going to a potluck BBQ on a Friday during Lent, but it all worked out okay. (We brought pizza and another family bought shrimp…though he did look longingly at the burgers!)
Caitlin didn’t eat much (which is a surprise) but it seemed to be less about the menu and more about the distractions - the playground, the other kids, and the oversized game board…

I am trying out some new programs for the computer…though our computer is a bit on the elderly side so I am hoping it can take it. Windows updates have historically led to disaster. Have you seen the commercial where the family comes home to find the house broken into and the only thing left behind is the computer? Let’s just say we can relate!
I’ve wanted to try watermarking my pictures for a variety of reasons I won’t go into now, and
Krystyn suggested trying Windows Live Writer. So far it seems to be pretty easy to use, but we’ll see how it goes!
