I Love Trash

While the Jim Henson exhibit was big hit from our trip to the children’s museum last weekend, there was another that caught Caitlin’s eye. (And apologies to those of you who now have this song stuck in your head…you can thank the Irishman who was singing it as he got dressed yesterday morning!)

Oscar would be proud. Look out – it is trash collector Caitlin!

I think I managed to get the one and only time she went down the slide without a smile on her face. It figures!

Caitlin figured out she could get up the stairs and down the slide all by herself….there was no stopping her then!

Wheeeeee!

It is somewhere between 2 and 3 am and I can’t sleep. I am tired, but my mind is racing with thoughts of school and things to do and such. They named the new principal yesterday…and I still don’t know anything about who is covering my maternity leave or what exactly the plan is for me next year. Lots of unknowns. I plan to meet with the new administrator as soon as she starts this summer to try to get an idea of what the plan is for the fall when I am not there. I keep going over what to say in my head…which is silly and keeping me up at night. When I do stop thinking about school I start to think about things I want to do around the house which is also silly and not sleep friendly. My solution? A glass of milk and a blog post. I’ll let you know if it helped me sleep. ; )

I can't believe how big Caitlin is getting! She is such a big girl now. I hope you are able to solve some of your school issues soon and are now getting some rest!
