The locksmith just left. I am in shock.
I should have asked how much it was going to cost.
I can't believe I didn't ask.
He secured the glass doors. He drilled little pins in each of the 4 doors. Everyone said the pins were the way to go. He did the first one and I had him do the other doors while he was at it.
It was $135 a door.
The total came to over $700. I managed to find an online coupon that brought the total to $682.
I feel so stupid. How could I have not asked how much it was going to cost?
This was not the locksmith that came so highly recommended. He hadn't gotten back to me and I wanted to get it done today so I called someone from the phone book.
I am so frustrated.
This whole thing is awful. I just want to wake up and have it all be a dream. I cleaned up some today. I was making plans to replace the TV. I was seeing the glass as half full.
Then I had to pay the locksmith.
I should have asked....

OMG, Jenny!! I am so, so sorry. Our house was broken into in Little Rock & it is the WORST feeling in the world. I am so sorry. I know you miss your Caitlin more than anything (& Morgan, too). Praying that this is a quick week & that you do get a 2011 do over! Stay strong.
That is outrageous! Who would have thought to ask - why would you think it would cost that much.
I'm so sorry you guys are having to go through all this. I know you'll feel better when you are reunited with hubby & baby.
