The Irishman wore a new shirt to work today. He looked all snazzy. I like to admire his work attire as I drop him off at work each morning. It is one of the joys of having one car...I get to watch him run walk briskly across three lanes of traffic and past the driveway of a high school. You would think someone who had been hit by a car would be more paranoid concerned about crazy high school drivers morning traffic.
But I digress...
The Irishman wears a tie to work almost everyday. Over the last 4 years or so the Irishman has collected a lot of ties. We go through them from time to time.
But they seem to multiply.
Don't get me wrong, I quite like the look and enjoy picking out ties for him. We are pros at finding the best clearance rack finds. (Macy's 50% off clearance sale? I'm there!)
But there are ties EVERYWHERE!

(This is the only picture I could find of the Irishman wearing a tie for work. It is not a typical work tie, but 5am comes WAY too early so it will have to do!)
There is almost always a loose "get me out of here" tie removed and left in the car. I pulled the dirty towel out of his gym bag and a tie fell out of his shoe. I emptied his lunch bag to find two ties stuffed in there. There are three ties on the dining room table. There is one on the computer desk.
Where do they come from? HeMy friend Lyndsay stopped by last week as I was complaining about the ties on the table. (I love the alliteration there by the way) Her husband is a golf pro and so she finds golf balls and tees all over the place...
And come to think of it Rafa steals plastic lids from bottles and leaves them all over the house...
So, this leads to the question...what do you find everywhere?

Currently, I find small cars and sippy cups everywhere :) Before hubby learned to put things away from the baby, I found sharpies and computer books everywhere.
Currently, down here being alone and all, I find water bottles. They always seem to have a bit of water left and they are in various places, sewing room, bedroom, dining table, coffee table, bathroom, closet, car...water bottles turn up everywhere.
Back home it's paper...my hubby is always reading something and leaving it lay around. Mail and newspapers mostly...I hate newspapers-messy dirty things!!! The one good thing about being here alone...NO NEWSPAPERS!
A quick question...does the Irishman often wear S-man tees under his dress shirts???? Is he faster than a speeding bullet???
Jenny! Thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog! Was that your first time on mine? I have had such a good time reading yours :) It's good to see that you're doing well. I've loved reading about what you've been up to and how you met your Irishman.
Let's see. . .what do I find everywhere? Small cars, K'nex pieces, small accessories for Barbies, and socks.
Currently, baby bibs. Miss Drooly Sloopy Eater goes through about 10 a day. They're in the kitchen, in the living room, in our bedroom, in her nursery, in the laundry room...everywhere!
