Family Fun at Daddy's Parade

The St. Patrick's Day Parade is one of our favorite events of the year. We've gone and sat in the same spot for the last 6 or 7 years with the same group of friends. This year the parade happened to fall on the Irishman's birthday. More than ever, it was HIS parade!

After a day of rain, the weather cooled off slightly and it was an absolutely beautiful day for family fun.

Even though it meant missed nap time, Caitlin had fun! (She did fall asleep in the car in record time on the way home...)

I can't think of a better way to spend celebrate my Irishman's birthday!

What a terrific way to celebrate your husband's birthday. St. Patty's day is my hubby's favorite holiday, his birthday is on March 8th and our wedding anniversary is on the 15th, so we usually combine them all to make a HUGE celebration.
The photos are so beautiful, it looks like you had a perfect day.
May St. Patrick guard you wherever you go,
and guide you in whatever you do--
and may his loving protection be a blessing to you always.

Happy birthday to the Irishman!

And, yay for parades, especially the kind that involve car naps.
