Colleen and Albert's Wedding

My cousin got married last weekend. Sean talked of nothing else for days, but he fell asleep in the car on the way there. He woke up in the middle of the vows.

Caitlin was all style. I found a lovely dress at the consignment sale for $4. Add a hat and gloves from the Target Dollar Spot, and you are ready to go!

Sean stole the hat as soon as he woke up. He's getting good at being a little brother!

The couple look amazing! Colleen was simply radiant!

The venue was awesome. There was room outside for the kids to play. It was beautiful, too!

We sat at a table with my sister, uncle, and some of my cousins. Caitlin approved!

We had a blast watching the kids dance. They can really boogie!

I also have a great video of the kids dancing, but I can't post that from the phone.

It was a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

On the way home from school yesterday, Caitlin told the Irishman that she needed him to be really busy for a while.

"We are just going eat a snack and sleep and play outside and go to the pool and go to the beach and go to the zoo."

(Whispers to me,"I'm just playing a joke on Daddy.")

All Sean heard was "zoo" and "birthday." He's decided that it is HIS birthday and we are going to the zoo. Sigh.

Last night Daddy and Sean went to a lacrosse game at Daddy's school while Caitlin and I bought birthday balloons.

We hid the balloons and some posters I made for him in our bedroom. Caitlin was SO excited about Daddy's birthday that she tried every hour last night to turn on the light and get out the goodies.

Someone forgot to tell her that what Daddy really wanted was sleep!

Dog House

We bought this trash can to put outside. Without a garage, we wanted a place to stash smelly diapers or scooped kitty litter without going outside the gate.

Sean had other ideas. He saw e putting it together and shouted,"Dog house!" We played along and got a stuffed animal, but Sean wasn't having any of it. He insisted on dragging the trash can over to  the neighbors house for Puppy and Floyd, the big dogs around the corner.

Author and Illustrator

Caitlin has been hard at work lately! She is quite the author/illustrator.

We were all sent home early today due to the threat if severe weather. A bored Caitlin put on her favorite Ariel dress and started to make a book. 

I took a picture of "Ariel 2" and she sighed, "You take pictures of EVERYTHING!" She might be 4, but the has the intonation down already!

Mr. Fix It

Daddy was watching the Liverpool game on his iPad, so Seam decided to work on some much needed repairs.

He does not get his love of pretend DIY from his daddy!

Sick Day Smiles

Sean got sick in the car on the way home from school Wednesday evening. We'd been on our way to a basketball game. Daddy and Sis (Caitlin's new name for herself) went to the game, while Sean and I enjoyed a Caillou marathon.

After a sleepless night, the bug passed. Sean woke up happy and hungry. I stayed home from work with him. By mid morning it was clear that he was fine.

We ran some errands. Sean loves his sister, but he really likes time alone.

I'm just thankful the stomach bug passed quickly and without incident.

With any luck, Sis will not get it!
