This morning we ended up back at the ENT. Another week, another day they have squeezed us in before a holiday. Sean’s ear is still draining. We have some medical treatments left to try, but the doc is concerned. The tubes are working in that they are draining the fluid from his ears, but if the current approach doesn’t work we may have to look at where all the fluid is coming from. That could mean another surgery, but we won’t know until we see what happens after the medicine. Prayers please!
We love this doctor, but his office is really far. On the way to the doctor…and on the way home…we stopped at a different Target to check out the Christmas clearance. We have done really well this year. Our Christmas clearance finds include a pre-lit tree, a yard decoration with Santa and two reindeer, gifts for babies not yet conceived, wrapping paper, shirts for Sean to wear next Christmas, tights for Caitlin, and every bag of White Chocolatier Peppermint Holidrizzle Kettle Corn left in the store. The best part is packing it away (okay not the kettle corn) and getting to enjoy our purchases again next year when we put up the decorations.
We had a coupon book that expired tonight so we went looking for deals to use for our NYE fun. Up first? Spaghetti and meatballs.
Marble Slab anyone? YUMMY!
On the way home we stopped to pick up Sean’s prescription from the pharmacy.
It was an early night. Caitlin and I put on our new clearance slippers and cuddled on the couch before bed. Bliss!
Happy New Year!
