8 Months

Caitlin Jo is 8 months old!




This months pictures were...umm...challenging to say the least! Our little girl has figured out how to move and she us always on the go!

In the last month she has mastered crawling and she will boogie around the room if you let her. Caitlin pulls herself up on any bit of furniture, parent, toy, bag, or other stationary item she can. She is getting brave and will hold on with just one hand. She is going to be a climber...

Her new favorite thing in life is Cheerios. She LOVES them. We've tried other things, but so far she isn't impressed any finger foods but teething biscuits and Cheerios. Baby food is a different story. The Irishman is thrilled that she eats her meat and veg like a champ!

In the last week Caitlin has started "talking" up a storm. She repeats "Ma-Ma" and "Ba-Ba" nonstop. I was trying to get her to say "Dada" but instead I got "Bye-Bye." Hmmm...

The Irishman and I are using baby sign language, so hopefully she decides to join us soon. She does wave "Bye-bye" to us.

She has grown up so much in the last month - not just in size but in everything! (Although she is wearing her 12 month clothes now, too!) You can really see her personality coming out as well. She love music and will dance when you sing to her. Her love of Daddy's Irish songs is too cute for words!

We were just talking about last summer and it is hard to believe that she wasn't here then - she is such a natural fit into our family. With trips planned to both Houston and Ireland, we look forward to showing her off to our extended families soon, too!
