“Caitlin, sit next to Sean for a picture, please.”
The shirts are from my dad and Sandra. They picked them up from DC a few months back. I really wanted to get a picture of the two kids together in them. Despite my pleas, Caitlin sat on the other side of the couch and wouldn’t get any closer. To be fair, she isn’t a fan of baby hands grabbing at her. She is smart enough to know that she has to stay out of reach.
I managed to convince her to give her brother a kiss,
but she was off like a shot after that!

At 6:45 the other morning as we were getting ready for work the Irishman and I heard a scream in the baby monitor out of the blue. We looked at each other and tried to figure out what was going on. Then we heard in a firm voice, “No Sean! It’s NAP time!” Sean knew it was time to get up for he continued to babble happily, much to his sister’s dismay!
To be fair though, she has also learned that the best way to make Sean stop crying is laugh. He cannot help but laugh when Caitlin laughs so she will start to giggle and carry on until he joins in with her.
I’d say she’s getting this big sister thing down pat!
