It has been a couple of weeks now, but I finally got together the pictures from Grandpa Boo's 80th birthday weekend.
While there were lots of organized events, we spent a lot of wonderful time hanging around the house with the family.
There were aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, and grandkids in town for the event. (Adding the respective 'grand,' 'great,' and 'great-great' to the titles as needed of course!)

Caitlin loves to play with the other great-grandkids....and their toys. As the littlest one, she is known to steal away a car or a train. I see many lessons on sharing in our future!
Grandma and GB's sister posted pictures of my grandfather and pulled out old albums. We all enjoyed taking a walk down memory lane.
The kids were more excited about Caitlin's pumpkins from earlier in the day than they were about the old photos.
My cousin Melissa couldn't make it for the party, so we chatted with her via Skype. Here you can see the Mike and Aiden showing her the pumpkins.
Any celebration that starts with a Mariachi band in the living room is special, and this one did not disappoint!
It was a wonderful weekend to celebrate a wonderful man.
We love you Grandpa Boo!
